Vaccinations

To ensure the safety and health of our client’s pets and our employees, we require proof of the following vaccinations:

Dogs: Rabies, Distemper, & Parvo. Bordetella is preferred for grooming but only required to board.

*dog vaccinations must be administered 24 hours prior to appointment*

Cats: Rabies, FVRCP

*cat vaccinations must be administered 7 days prior to their appointment*

All vaccinations can be emailed, faxed, or called in by vet. Please submit vaccinations prior to arrival at one of the options below:

Having second thoughts? No worries – we’re here to help! If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase or you are looking to get your deposit back, you can return your eligible returns and receive eligible refunds within 30 days of the original purchase date.

Aggressive Behavior

Pets come from all walks of life and not every pet has the best temperament. We understand that rescues and certain breeds can become violent and aggressive towards people they don’t know or trust. We will not shy away from any difficult or “aggressive” behavior animal, but we also must look out for our safety as well as your pets. All attempts and behavioral training will be done to attempt to complete the desired service you request. But in the event, we can’t complete the service we will return your pet uncompleted and give you our recommendations going forward, in very rare occasions we will refuse future service if we see no hope of gaining the trust or you (the client) refuses our recommendations.

If the pet is returned incomplete there will be a charge of $25.00 for the handling fee or full cost of services scheduled if more than 50% of the service has been completed. Please understand cat and dog bites can be extremely serious and lead to permanent damage.

Matting

We are here to provide your pet with a pleasant and memorable experience while giving your pet the groom that you want. If your pet comes in with light or small mild mats in coat, we will work out the mats at a rate of $1/minute. If your pet comes in with heavy matting whether small areas or entire body, we will not de-mat under any circumstance. De-matting is a stressful and painful experience for your pet, and we are looking to keep your pet from dreading their groom days due to one experience. If we decline to de-mat your pets coat, we will offer a “fresh start” cut where your pet will be cut as short as necessary to remove the matting. You may choose to pick up your pet and take it to another salon if this is a decision you do not agree with, but we will not put your pet into any unnecessary pain. In extreme matting cases nicks and abrasions can occur as well as uncovering wounds, our policy is only to cover initial vet costs on injuries due to groomer’s negligence.

No Show

We are an appointment based business where every appointment matters. We do understand that appointments can be forgotten or dates get mixed up, that will lead to a missed appointment. To help prevent this we do confirm every appointment the day before so we require all clients to have up to date emails and cell phone numbers on file. If you still do not reschedule the day prior, cancel, or show up for your scheduled appointment we will charge a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service cost. This fee should be paid immediately or at the next scheduled service.

Past Due Amounts

Whether you have a cancellation, no show, past due amount, or any other charge to your account where we have no received payment, they must be paid in full within 30 days of the original charge. If this charge remains on your account past 30 days, we will mail you an invoice each month with a late fee equal to 10% of the total amount due. If charges are not paid before 6 months it will be sent to a collection agency and you will be unable to book any future appointments.

Pick Ups

We value your time and expect you to value ours. Once your pet is completed with its scheduled services, you will be given a completion call to the number given at check in. There is no time limit before your pet has before they need to leave (except during holidays) if it is before closing hours. We hope that you understand that we have spouses, children, and plans after we leave Pawsitively Purrfect. We do understand “things happen” and therefore we allow a 10-minute cushion past our closing hour for you to pick up your pet. Anything beyond the 10-minute cushion will result in a $15.00 fee being added to your bill. If your pet is still not picked up by 30 minutes past closing our doors will be locked for the night and a boarding fee (equal to our standard rates) will be added to your bill allowing you to pick up your pet the next morning. If this happens on a Saturday, you will be charged two (2) days of boarding (equal to our standard rates) and your pet must be picked up on the following Monday.

If your pet is left over night they will be taken to potty before leaving and given water and a bed for the night, we will not feed your pet because we don’t know if they have any food restrictions.

Late Arrivals

Time is money, and a very precious commodity. We value your time and hope you value ours, so we ask you show up for your scheduled appointment 10-15 minutes early. We do understand traffic and situations happen where this will not always be possible, so we will allow a 10-minute cushion before considered late. If you arrive later than 10 minutes after your scheduled time, you will forfeit your place in our schedule and be placed on the bottom of the list to do done. You may reschedule at no cost unless you have made a common habit of this situation. In this case your schedule will be cancelled and a late cancellation fee of $15.00 will be billed to your account.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We are here to serve you and provide you with a superior service. But we are human and make mistakes, and if for any reason, you are unhappy with the services provided, we will do what we can to rectify the problem immediately. We understand there are times you get in a rush and don’t notice a problem until you get home or possibly the next day, and we will fix any fixable issue immediately if we are notified within 6 business days of the service completion. If you wait longer than the allowed time we will redo the groom or bath, but at full cost of service.
